The GMF capacity building program engages municipal officials in sharing knowledge, experience and best practices in sustainable development.
The program supports municipal governments working towards sustainable community development through the six sectors supported under the GMF. Visit each sector above for resources, tools and examples that can support your municipal government in that area.
In addition to resources in each of the six GMF sectors, the program also delivers several flagship programs:

New: Municipal Sustainable Bylaw Collection
|
The Municipal Sustainable Bylaw Collection includes more than 100 examples of sustainable bylaws, policies and procedures in each GMF-supported sector.
Find out how a growing number of Canadian municipalities are integrating sustainability in their planning process.
