 Partners for Climate Protection

 Partners for Climate Protection
The Partners for Climate Protection (PCP) program is a network of Canadian municipal governments who have committed to reducing greenhouse gases and acting on climate change.

PCP is the Canadian component of ICLEI's Cities for Climate Protection (CCP) network that comprises more then 600 communities world wide making the same efforts.

PCP is a partnership between the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) and ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability. PCP receives financial support from the Green Municipal Fund as part of the Capacity Building Program.

  • The Living Building Challenge New

What if every single act of design and construction made the world a better place?

Launched in 2006 by the International Living Building Institute (ILBI), the Living Building Challenge seeks to answer this question by raising the bar in green building practices. The program offers a performance-based methodology that encourages building design and construction teams to make informed decisions and achieve the highest possible level of sustainability in the built environment.

The ILBI is a non-governmental organization comprised of leading green building experts and thought leaders dedicated to creating a truly sustainable built environment.
