Apply year-round to FCM’s Green Municipal Fund for capital project funding
FCM’s Green Municipal Fund™ (GMF) is committed to a more client-centred service and has adopted a continuous improvement approach. We have been listening to what you have to say, and we have heard you loud and clear.
You have told us that you want to be able to apply for grants and loans at any time of year, and to know far in advance what kinds of applications will be eligible: we have made the necessary changes to meet this need. We have removed all deadlines to apply for grants and below-market loans for capital projects; you can now apply whenever it best fits into your project cycle. We have also locked in the eligibility requirements from now until at least March 31, 2010. You also told us that you want a streamlined applications process that is easier and takes less time: we are currently redesigning our process to meet this need. As a first step, we now review applications on a monthly basis and are committed to providing a response as quickly as possible.
We are listening, and we are working hard to meet your needs. We will keep the lines of communication open on ways to streamline our processes and to improve GMF products and services. Comments or suggestions are always welcome, and can be sent to us at gmf@fcm.ca.
